Good for you guys. Medical transcriptionists life can be a very rewarding experience for some but not a lot of people make it. Most of the MT that I know of did MT from home because they can't leave home - some like mommies who have to take care of the kids (but like the questions in the blog, I'm sure that she is going to have some problems with it in time) but I'm pretty sure they'll work something out.
